FIRST YEAR
My inaugural year at university overflowed with a multitude of exhilarating and long-awaited life events. It was a time of tremendous growth and self-discovery, where I not only had a blast but also absorbed a wealth of knowledge and matured in profound ways. Gratitude fills my heart for the cherished friendships and transformative experiences that adorned my path. Throughout this journey, I faced inevitable struggles and challenges that tested my resilience. However, I overcame them with unwavering determination, emerging stronger and more independent. These triumphs have equipped me with newfound bravery and readiness to confront future battles that lie ahead, armed with the lessons learned and an unwavering spirit.
SPRING BREAK IN THE DMV
During spring break, I traveled to Maryland to visit my uncle and his family. Little did I know that this trip would unveil a captivating exploration of American history. From the bustling streets of Washington, D.C. to the charming landscapes of Virginia, I delved into the captivating narratives that shaped the nation. Immersed in the echoes of monumental landmarks, I absorbed a history distinct from my own, broadening my perspective and deepening my appreciation for the intricacies of American heritage.
KINGS ISLAND
My adventure at Kings Island was an exhilarating journey of thrill and fun. From heart-pounding roller coasters to lively entertainment, every moment was filled with excitement. Going with friends made it 10x better because you get to share your experiences with loved once. My favorite part was soak city water park.
NOAH'S ARK
I had the privilege of accompanying the children I volunteer with to a remarkable replica of Noah's Ark. Together with the children, I embarked on a journey that transported us back in time, immersing us in the biblical tale of Noah and his legendary vessel. Witnessing the children's faces light up with excitement and awe was a precious sight.
UC WORLDFEST
Worldfest, a week-long celebration, immersed me in the vibrant cultures of diverse countries. As an international student, I felt embraced and valued when a country other than the USA took center stage, highlighting the true essence of diversity. It was a heartwarming affirmation of acceptance and an opportunity to appreciate the global mosaic we all contribute to.
CINCINNATI ZOO
Venturing into the captivating world of the Cincinnati Zoo, I embarked on a remarkable expedition that allowed me to witness the majestic creatures in their authentic natural habitats. It was an awe-inspiring experience, as I observed the animals in their true element, thriving amidst carefully curated environments that mimicked their native homes. Each encounter unveiled a deeper understanding and appreciation for the diverse array of species that grace our planet.
BB RIVERBOATS
Embarking on the BB Riverboat this summer, I embarked on a captivating tour of Greater Cincinnati and Kentucky. The experience was nothing short of awe-inspiring as I beheld breathtaking sights along the way. From stunning landscapes to architectural marvels, the journey unfolded a tapestry of beauty that left an indelible mark on my soul.
